I hereby retract my "candy-asses" comment from the previous entry...Film Review have decided to run the review in their January 2001 issue (after some pressure). It's actually a five-star review, not four as mentioned. Here's a scan of the review as it will appear. Chalk up one more for AC!

Also, I'd like to mention that our Canadian distributor, Marginal Distribution, have a special page up for AntiCristo which you can get to from their main page. They're doing a great job!

The episode of SexTV featuring the segment on AntiCristo is now in the archives. However, the video will have to be streamed from this site sometime in the near future. Back in September I mentioned upcoming feature articles in the UK adult mags Knave and Desire. They are in the current Xmas issue and the Jan. 2001 issue respectively. Meanwhile, the candy-asses at Film Review Magazine wouldn't run a (four-star) review of our book...here's a section of the fax explaining why:

Just a quick update to tie up some loose ends for posterity. The first printed coverage of AntiCristo appeared back in July in Exclaim! Magazine (a Canada-wide newsprint pub. that covers music and pop culture). Next is the London-based Cinema Store; check out the Top 10 Sellers List. Also, a couple of online shops that carry AntiCristo: NetStore (which serves the USA and Australia/New Zealand) and Bluesnake (Bizarre Magazine's tie-in shopping site - type "AntiCristo" in the search box).

Just a link to the SexTV episode listing for the November 11th show featuring AntiCristo. After the show airs it will go into their online archive of episode listings. Forgot to mention yesterday that it will air again on Sunday night at the same time (11:30pm) in case you miss it. Also, here are the markets that this show wil be seen in and its carrier.

It's now confirmed that the AntiCristo segment will be aired this Saturday on SexTV. For Toronto viewers, watch it on channel 7 (CityTV) at 11:30pm until midnight. I will be implementing a streaming video version of it soon after. Let us know what you think!

Just found out that the SexTV segment on AntiCristo will most likely be aired on Saturday, November 11th. There will be footage from the launch party, interview footage and clips from several sinful & scintillating nun videos. As mentioned before, this show is syndicated in many countries, so check your cable/satellite providers for info.

Today SexTV filmed more footage to expand the segment on AntiCristo for an upcoming episode of their internationally syndicated show. They interviewed Steve and Laurence Laberge (see yesterday's pix and look for the sexy nun). This, combined with the footage from the book launch party and some tasty movie clips should make for an excellent piece.

Our publisher Harvey Fenton keeps us up to date on the book's success over the pond and Empire Magazine listed AntiCristo as being the fifth best-selling film book in Britain last month. Not bad! Also look for a four star review of the book in an upcoming issue of Film Review Magazine.

Tomorrow (Oct. 1) is the CanZine show at Reverb (651 Queen W. (416) 504-6699). I don't know a lot about it but I do know that our Canadian distributor Marginal Distribution will be there with AntiCristo. Steve and I are showing up to check things out.

The launch party last night was a huge success! Lots of old friends and new showed up and a good time was had by all. The media arrived as well and filmed plenty of interview footage, shots of people reading the book and of the bands performing. Check back this weekend for a ton of pix from the event and more skinny on what went down. Thanks to everyone who made it!
